Now Strike allows USDT stablecoin payment 

Global Bitcoin & fiat payment app Strike Integrates USDT stablecoin payment option for the customers. 

Strike is a payments platform, which was developed by Zap Solutions. This platform allows strike app users to send and receive USD instantly around the world, at zero cost. This app moves fiat by buying and selling bitcoin in real time over the Lightning Network. 

On 22 May 2023, USDT stablecoin issuer firm Tether announced that Strike integrated the USDT stablecoin payment option in the Strike app. 

On this partnership, Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino said that the latest partnership is proof that Stablecoin adoption is surging rapidly in the world as an efficient & instant payment tool. 

Tether CTO also appreciated the role of stablecoins as a trusted bridge between crypto & traditional financial systems. He noted that still it is a challenging phase for crypto stablecoins, as several financial regulators don’t recognize stablecoin, crypto, or blockchain technology-based financial systems as the best & trusted payment tools. 

Strike: Bitcoin in 2023 Miami 

During the Bitcoin in 2023 Miami conference Strike’s Zap Solutions CEO Jack Mallers said that two years ago the firm relocated its headquarters from the US to El Salvador, where Bitcoin is a legal tender. 

He said that at the time the company decided to take the big decision because of the increasing regulatory challenges in the US jurisdiction and further noted that the situation is now very bad for the top regulated Crypto firms in the US.
