Vitalik Buterin Discusses Sam Bankman-Fried in the Wake of the FTX crisis

Vitalik Buterin has offered his opinions on SBF and the community’s response to the scandal so far.

The co-founder of Ethereum has commented on the consequences of the FTX crisis and, more specifically, on Sam Bankman.

It seems that the cryptocurrency community is united in opposition to the actions of former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.

The vast majority of responses are totally negative, with many demanding imprisonments and the toughest regulatory penalties.

Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum has also contributed to the discussion. As a public person, he feels SBF deserves all he is receiving. In an effort to reinforce essential communal ideals, he said that this is even beneficial.

However, “Sam the human person” needs care and affection, according to Buterin. The public person SBF is being splashed on deserves it, and in fact, it’s beneficial for the community to have a nice dunk tank every once in a while to reinforce vital shared values.

Sam, as a human being is deserving of love, and I pray that he is surrounded by those who can offer it to him.

The majority of analysts disagreed with Buterin, believing that SBF acted falsely and maliciously to the very end.

Before quitting as CEO, he informed users that the US-based division of FTX was fully liquid and unaffected by the chaos. The next day, it filed for bankruptcy.
