Elon Musk claims that SBF contributions to Democrats ‘probably’ exceed $1 billion

Elon Musk said that the SBF had contributed more than $1 billion to Democrats and inquired as to where the money went.

Elon Musk has said that the former CEO of the insolvent cryptocurrency exchange FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried, has contributed more than a billion dollars to the Democratic party in order to help them win elections.

In a recent Twitter exchange, Will Manidis, CEO of the healthcare AI platform Science, referred to SBF’s gifts to politicians as “one of the greatest ROI trades of all time” due to the fact that it prevented him from going to jail for stealing over $10 billion.

Elon Musk, who participated in the conversation, said that SBF’s “real funding to Democratic races is definitely above $1 billion.” Musk also inquired as to where the money went.

SBF is reported to have contributed $5.2 million to Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign and $10 million to unsuccessful Democratic congressional candidate Carrick Flynn in Oregan.

In May, SBF said that he may give $100 million to $41 billion to the impending 2024 US Presidential Campaign. Even so, he referred to the $1 billion as a “soft ceiling.”

Obviously, this was before FTX declared bankruptcy And although some of his gifts to the Democrats have been made public, SBF has revealed that he has also made contributions to the Republicans that have not been publicized.
